Aadhaar card is a System introduced by the government of India to recognize the citizen of the country through a Unique Number (UID). As per the need of the hour, it is mandid for everyone to Register an Aadhar card as this will be the only guiding medium for all the services rendered in our country. This will allow us to get subsidies, This will be used for Identification for all the Official purposes in our country.
Here are the steps for Registering an Aadhaar Card :
- All you need to do is to visit the nearest Enrollment Camp mostly Indian Post with certain legal documents to register for an Aadhaar.
- You need to provide photograph and biometric scanning of ten fingerprints and eye impressions (Iris Scan)
- The Enrolling agency gives us an enrolment number upon completion.
- Residents will be issued an Aadhar number within 20 to 30 days of registration date.

Dear sir, I have enrolled my aadhar card on 23rd august 2011. with EID number 1111/22103/03203 Date and time is 23/08/2011 11:42:10. I din’t recieved my aadhar card till now. The status shows “EID provided by you is still not available with us. Please check back after few days”. For some of the persons who din’t received cards the status shows “‘Your enrollment cannot be processed due to technical reasons. You are requested to kindly re-enroll. We regret the inconvenience caused to you.’”.
They are re enrolling but my VRO is not giving application to me to re-enroll and says wait for some more days. How many days I have to wait. It’s been 1 year 5 1/2 months I am waiting for it. The people who enrolled few months before got aadhars but not me. As I am an govt employee aadhar number is essential for salary purpose. Please help me in this regard. What should I do get the aadhar card. Please help me.

My name is Manohar, enrolled for Aadhar card today. When i came home after enrolling and i checked the acknowledgement, i found that the consent of mine regarding sharing the information was printed as YES as against NO in my application form. I mentioned my consent as NO, seems the enroller has wrongly selected as YES. I would want to correct it as my consent NO. Because i do not want my details(information) to be shared with any agency/welfare organization.
